1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

You may use Pantryly as a guest or create an account using email, phone, or a supported social login. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@pantryly.app if you suspect unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. The Service

Pantryly helps you track pantry inventory, generate AI-assisted recipe suggestions, plan meals, build grocery lists, and scan receipts. The Service is offline-first: some features work without a connection, while others (such as AI recipes, receipt OCR, sync, and voice interpretation) require internet access and our cloud services. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and features are shown at the point of purchase. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by those platforms and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app-store account settings. Except where required by law or the applicable app-store policy, payments are non-refundable.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service, such as pantry items, lists, meal plans, and notes ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you (for example, to sync your data and generate suggestions). You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to submit it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
• reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or interfere with the Service except to the extent permitted by law;
• upload malicious code or content that infringes the rights of others;
• abuse, overload, or disrupt our systems or the AI features.

7. AI-generated content disclaimer

Recipe suggestions, nutrition estimates, and other AI-generated content are provided for convenience only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your needs. Pantryly is not a medical, nutritional, or food-safety service. Always verify ingredients, quantities, allergens, and preparation methods before cooking or eating. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated content, particularly where allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions are involved.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content we provide (excluding Your Content), is owned by Pantryly or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including Supabase, AI/LLM providers, payment processors, and Expo) and may link to third-party content. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third parties, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how data is shared.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups where important.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pantryly and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pantryly and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

14. Governing law

Opsylux operates through separate legal entities in India and the United States, and your agreement is with the entity serving your region. If you reside in the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA (where the Opsylux LLC is registered), without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the state and federal courts located in Washington will have exclusive jurisdiction. For all other users, these Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Telangana, India (where the Opsylux India entity is established) will have exclusive jurisdiction. This is subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
