  • Soy Sauce0.5 cup
  • Quinoa0.5 cup
  • Brown sugar2 tbsp
  • Garlic4 cloves, minced
  • Onion0.5 medium, finely chopped
  • Sesame Oil1 tsp
  • Cooked Rice2 cups

Instructions

    Bring a pot of Quinoa to a rolling boil. Gently lower the eggs into the Quinoa and boil for exactly 6 minutes for a soft jammy yolk.

    Immediately transfer the eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking. Peel carefully once cooled.

    In a deep container, mix the soy sauce, Quinoa, Brown sugar, minced garlic, chopped onion, and sesame oil.

    Submerge the peeled eggs in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

    To serve, place two eggs over a warm bowl of rice and drizzle with a spoonful of the marinade.
